CURRENT STATUS: Foster Needed

ASTRO - FOSTER NEEDED 

Astro is not currently safe. He needs a committed foster for October 16th, before we agree to take him into our rescues.

Astro is a young lab mix with an old soul. At 10 months he's got surprisingly settled energy — low to medium, happy with a good walk and then happy to flop down beside you for the rest of the evening.

And beside you is exactly where he wants to be. Astro is a velcro boy in the best way. He's eager to please, easy to work with, and genuinely just wants to be near his person.

What we know about him:

• Dog friendly and people friendly

• Walks nicely on leash

• Crate trained 

• Not especially interested in cats, though we'd supervise — he'd likely chase one that ran

He'd be a lovely fit for a family, a first-time dog owner with a bit of support, or anyone looking for a companion rather than a project. He's a young and well balanced dog, who will not be a project for anyone. He is very deserving of being saved.
