CURRENT STATUS: Foster Needed

Jazzy is a 2-year-old, 12-lb Chihuahua cross looking for an understanding local foster home with experience helping scared or fearful dogs.

Once she trusts you, Jazzy is your little shadow! She’s incredibly affectionate, loves cuddling under blankets, giving kisses, and being close to her person. She walks nicely on leash, is very smart and treat-motivated, and is still working on house training.

Jazzy is fearful of new people, loud noises, and being left alone, and may bark or growl when she feels scared or cornered. She needs someone who understands fearful dogs and is comfortable giving her the time, space, patience, and consistency she needs to feel safe.

She would do best in a calm, quiet home without children. She has done well with the two quiet Chihuahuas in her current foster home and may benefit from a confident, gentle dog companion to help show her the ropes. She has not been cat tested.
