Billy is a lovable, gentle giant with a heart as big as his wiggle bum! He adores his family, especially children, and can’t get enough of snuggles. Whether it’s curling up next to you on the couch or getting the best belly rub, Billy will always find a way to be close to his humans. His love is as boundless as his energy, making him the perfect companion for an active family.

Billy is crate trained and sleeps peacefully in his crate, though he’s happy to hang out there on his own, door wide open, just to nap. He’s also house-trained, and you won’t need to worry about any mischief when you’re away—no shoes have been chewed up in sight!

Billy loves his walks and running around in the yard, and he walks well on a leash when wearing the proper collar. He’s still learning his size but is incredibly gentle with people of all ages—he’s been around kids from 2 to 12 and has been wonderful with them! When Billy wakes up, he’s ready to greet the day with the biggest tail wiggle and endless affection.

Billy enjoys playing with toys, especially balls, bones, and squeaky toys. He loves playing with kids, bringing back toys to have them tossed again and again. Though he’s not keen on playing with other animals, he’s a great playmate for people, especially when he’s in the mood for some one-on-one fun.

Billy is a quick learner! He’s still working on a few things like not jumping up when he’s excited, but with a bit of patience, he’ll settle quickly. He’s excellent in the car, calm and content in the back seat with a blanket, always seat-belted in for safety. He’s also a good boy when it comes to barking; a simple “No barking, Billy” is enough to keep him in check.

Billy has a playful side but he’s also very respectful of your space. He loves to see where all his people are and will circle at the door when he’s ready to go out.

Billy’s ideal family would be one that understands his size and strength and is prepared for an energetic, loving, and affectionate companion. He’d do best in a home with kids and would thrive in an environment where he gets plenty of attention, affection, and playtime. Billy is still a young boy and can be a bit excitable, so he’ll need some gentle corrections and continued training, but with his loving nature, he’s bound to be the perfect addition to a family that can keep up with his enthusiasm.
