The Sweetest Little Lady  

Zara is a 5-year-old mixed breed who’s as calm and gentle as they come. She’s the ultimate couch potato, and her favorite thing in the world is curling up with her humans. Zara is a loving snuggler, especially with kids who are happy to let her rest on them while she gets her chin and ear scratches. She’ll also bring you her toys and play fetch with you, and our grandkids adore playing with her!  

Zara is super easygoing, she’s crate-trained but doesn’t mind sleeping outside of it, and she’ll even go in for some quiet time on her own. She’s very gentle when greeting people and loves car rides—she’s getting more and more comfortable with them. Though she loves being with her family, Zara is also okay on her own, as long as she’s in her cozy bed with a blanket under her head at night.  

She does have a soft spot for her mate, Billy, and they share the sweetest snuggles and kisses. While we haven’t tested her with other dogs, she’s incredibly friendly, loving, and gentle with everyone she meets. Zara enjoys her walks and does great on a harness, making her the perfect walking companion for anyone—even a 12-year-old!  

This little lady just wants to be loved and to love you right back. Zara is a total gem and would fit into any home, especially one where she can enjoy her favorite pastime: chilling on the couch with her people. If you’re looking for a companion who’s calm, sweet, and full of love, Zara is your girl. ❤️
