Meet Nipsy, a joyful 3.5-year-old American Bulldog weighing 66 lbs. This fun-loving boy is always ready for adventure and would thrive in a home with a big yard where he can zoom around and play. Nipsy has been around children (ages 4-9) constantly and absolutely loves their attention, patiently soaking up all the head and neck scratches they give him. He’s a big-hearted companion who wants to be wherever his people are and will happily follow you around for love and cuddles.

Nipsy is dog-friendly and eager to play, though he sometimes uses nipping to instigate fun, so he would do best with a playmate his size or bigger who can match his energy. On walks, he’s curious about other dogs and has shown a strong interest in making new friends. He has made huge improvements in leash walking, now keeping a semi-loose leash but still getting excited by all the wonderful smells and sights around him. While he is crate-trained and comfortable being left alone when necessary, he much prefers being part of the family action.

This goofy guy has a few adorable quirks—he’s unsure about indoor stairs, only willing to go up a couple of steps before stopping. He does have a habit of jumping up for attention, but he listens well to the “off” command and is learning to redirect his energy to appropriate toys. He also loves his squeaky purple KONG tug-of-war toy and black KONG ball, making playtime extra fun!
