Hi, I’m Rocco! I’m a 2-year-old Lab mix weighing about 60 lbs with a lots of energy and a big, playful heart. I love staying active and engaged and play enthusiastically, but I’m also incredibly affectionate and enjoy hugs, pets, and cuddles. I’m intelligent, obedient, and eager to please, making me a wonderful companion for an active home.

I need an active family who can keep up with my energy and give me regular exercise and playtime. I get along perfectly with other dogs and with kids aged 7+, though I’m best matched with larger dogs, as my play style could be too much for smaller pups. I can live happily with other dogs or be the only dog in the home.

I walk very well on leash with no pulling and I’m not reactive to dogs or people. I enjoy toys, walks, treats, and quality time with my people. I’m comfortable in a crate and I’m house-trained, consistently using the same area for my bathroom needs. I’ve only traveled in a crate for vet and shelter visits, so car rides outside of that are still unknown.

I’m not a barker and I have no fears- just lots of love and enthusiasm for life. With guidance, I can easily learn to play more gently thanks to my intelligence and willingness to learn. I’m a joyful, affectionate companion who’s ready for an active forever home.
