Maya

CURRENT STATUS: Foster Needed 

Maya is a 1.5-year-old, 40 lb Shepherd cross who deserves a chance to feel safe, loved, and secure. 

Maya is a sweet, playful, loving girl who wants nothing more than to be your shadow. She’s learning basic commands, walks beautifully on leash, and is eager to learn. She does struggle with fear, especially around men and unfamiliar household noises, so she needs a patient, understanding person to help her build confidence.

She has done well with older kids, generally ignores cats, and is currently on a vet-guided refeeding plan after being rescued very underweight.

Maya isn’t a bad dog - she’s a good girl who has had a rough start and needs someone willing to give her time, kindness, and a chance to feel safe.
