I’m Max — a big boy with an even bigger heart. At just 2 years old, I’ve already survived neglect and heartbreak. I was rescued from a bad situation, and since then, I’ve been trying my best to be the good boy everyone says I can be.

Right now, I’m staying with a kind man and his friend, but her friend is 74… and I’m just too much for him to handle. No matter how hard they’ve tried, they haven’t been able to find me a safe place — and I’m out of time.

I’m scared.

I know what happens to dogs like me when there’s nowhere to go. I don’t want to end up in a shelter. I don’t want to be forgotten. I just want a chance.

Max is still on the Rez and cannot be brought into rescue until we find a committed foster or foster-to-adopt home. He’s a big, goofy, loving soul who just needs space, structure, and someone to believe in him.
