Gringo is an 11-month-old Shepherd mix weighing 40 LBS. with a playful, curious, and affectionate personality. He loves being around other dogs and thrives in their company. Gringo truly prefers a home with another dog, and with people who have the time for him. He has done well with kids, and would be a great family dog  always wanting to see what you’re doing. Gringo has a moderate energy level: he loves to run, play, go for walks, and sniff around, but also enjoys downtime and affection.

Gringo is very dog-friendly, non-reactive, and great in the car. On leash, he may pull a little when he sees other dogs -  not out of reactivity, but because he’s excited and wants to play. He isn’t afraid of noises and is learning good house habits, using the patio or walks for bathroom breaks. It is recommended that whoever adopts Gringo keeps him well exercised and socialized. Gringo will benefit from continued training. He loves toys (especially teddies!) and, like most puppies, should have shoes and valuables kept out of reach. Gringo would do best in a home with rules, structure, routine, and of course  with another dog where he can play, and learn from. 

Health: Up to date on vaccinations, heartworm prevention, neutered, and comes with 30 days of free pet insurance to an approved adopter.
