Atenea is a 10-year-old Lab mix weighing approximately 55lb with a calm, sweet, and social nature. She has a moderate energy level -  happy to enjoy gentle walks and playtime, but equally content relaxing and soaking up companionship.

Atenea is wonderful with children (best with ages 6+) and is especially sweet and gentle with them. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and can happily live with canine companions or as the only dog. She is also cat-friendly, making her a great fit for many homes.

She is very well behaved, obedient, and calm. Atenea walks nicely on leash, is non-reactive to other dogs, and happily walks at your pace. She enjoys spending time in the patio, knows where to go, and listens well when asked to go into her house. Off-leash, she stays close and reliably returns inside.

Atenea isn’t a barker, but she is naturally protective -  she will gently let you know if someone unfamiliar is around. She loves company, enjoys cuddles, and thrives on being near her people. Atenea is a loving, loyal companion who would be perfect for someone looking for a gentle, easygoing dog to share their days with.

Health: Up to date on vaccinations, heartworm prevention, spayed, and comes with 30 days of free pet insurance to an approved adopter.
