Goose is a 2 years old, 40 lb, smart, loyal, and affectionate boy with stunning blue eyes and a huge heart. He loves hikes, adventures, agility training, flirt pole play, and learning new tricks, but he’s just as happy relaxing quietly at home with his people.

He’s house trained, crate trained for bedtime, non-destructive when left alone, great in the car, and has excellent recall. Goose thrives with training and mental stimulation, and he’s happiest when he has a job to do or an adventure to join.

One of Goose’s best qualities is how amazing he is with other dogs. He gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and we strongly believe he would do best in a home with another confident dog to help guide him.

Goose’s biggest challenge is that he is fearful of unfamiliar visitors in the home. Because of this, he needs an experienced, patient adopter who is committed to continuing his positive reinforcement training.

His ideal home:

• A home with a fenced yard or property

• Another confident dog

• Active lifestyle with access to trails/hikes

• Ongoing training and enrichment

• Older, dog-savvy children

Goose is not looking for a busy, chaotic lifestyle, he’s looking for a family who will guide him, advocate for him, and appreciate the incredibly intelligent, loving, goofy companion he truly is.
