BOMI

APPROXIMATE AGE: 5 years

CURRENT STATUS: FOSTER SECURED - DECOMPRESSING

Hi, I’m Bomi, a gentle and intuitive 5-year-old girl weighing 13.2 lbs. I was rescued from South Korea, and since then I’ve shown just how calm, polite, and well-mannered I truly am. Indoors, I’m peaceful and quiet, only bouncing with excitement when I’m hoping for a tasty treat, and once my harness is on, I’ll sit patiently by the door to let you know I’m ready for a walk. Outside, I walk beautifully on a leash, enjoying my surroundings without pulling or overexcitement. I get along well with other dogs, calmly greeting them and moving along, and I’m respectful with cats, choosing to quietly observe rather than chase. I’m gentle around children but prefer to stay close by rather than seek attention. I can be shy with new people, especially men, but with patience, soft voices, and treats, I slowly build trust and form deep bonds with my caregiver. I’m mostly potty trained, use pee pads very reliably indoors, and usually finish pottying on walks. My crate is my safe, cozy space, especially when I feel unsure or when visitors come. I rarely bark, have no separation anxiety, take treats delicately, and have no mouthy behaviors. I did have patellar luxation surgery in April 2025 and have recovered well. I love walks, sweet potatoes, and routine, and I’m incredibly perceptive—responding calmly to gentle guidance and adjusting my behavior to the people around me. My ideal home would be a quiet, adult household, ideally with a yard and a family who can support outdoor potty time morning and evening. I may not seek affection from everyone, but once I bond with you, my loyalty and softness run deep.
