Meet Baxter, a sweet 5-year-old Poodle who is grieving the recent loss of his mom and now searching for a loving new beginning. Baxter is a very good boy with a gentle nature and is extremely dog friendly. We are hoping to find him a home with another dog who can keep him company, help him feel secure, and show him the ropes as he settles into a new environment.

Baxter has lived with children, but due to past negative experiences where he was handled roughly, we are not comfortable placing him in a home with small children. A home with respectful kids aged 12 and up would be best to ensure Baxter feels safe and stress-free. He is also cat friendly and could happily live with a calm, easygoing kitty. He walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and does well with routine and consistency. Baxter is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and on heartworm prevention. He is a truly sweet boy who deserves a family with time, patience, and endless love to help him heal and thrive in his forever home.
