Meet Annie, a beautiful 2-year-old Husky mix weighing approximately 50 lbs who is an incredibly loving and affectionate girl! Annie adores people and is happiest when she’s getting attention, going for walks, relaxing outside, or simply hanging out with her favourite humans. She is energetic, confident, and loves being active and engaged. Annie does well in a crate, although she may whine or howl occasionally, and she travels very well in the car. She does have prey drive and cannot live with cats or small animals. Her previous shelter reported that she did well with dogs her size, so a slow and proper introduction to another confident, similar-sized dog may be possible. Annie arrived with a previously broken front leg that healed improperly, known as a malunion. Her veterinarian has confirmed that the leg is healed and that surgery would not correct it. She is still able to use the leg and has an excellent energy level; she currently takes Carprofen once daily for comfort. Annie is a big-hearted girl who has so much love to give and is ready for someone who will give her the affection, companionship, and forever home she deserves. 💕🐾
