At just 1 year old and 40 pounds, Toby is the perfect size and has an even bigger heart. He's a sweet, goofy boy who is ready to find a family to call his own.

This handsome boy absolutely adores people. Whether you're an adult or have kids, Toby is happiest when he's with his humans. He'll happily stroll up to new people looking for affection, and with gentle introductions, he stays calm and polite while soaking up all the pets.

About Toby:
• House-trained and crate trained (although he'd much rather be with his people!)
• Rides great in the car and prefers relaxing in the back seat
• Walks calmly on a leash
• Playful and energetic, but also enjoys long naps and relaxing with his family
• Funny and full of personality -his backyard somersaults will keep you laughing!
• Can be a little nervous around loud cars and large trucks and will look to you for reassurance
• Doesn't enjoy being stared down by other dogs and may bark if he feels uncomfortable
• Can get a little jumpy when he's excited to play or greet you, but responds well to calm, consistent guidance and settles quickly

• Would love to be the only dog so he can soak up all the attention
• Could do well with another respectful medium-sized dog after slow, proper introductions

• Looking for a family who will continue his basic training and help build his recall
• Has not been cat tested
