Piper is a beautiful 4-5 year old, 40-pound sweetheart who is looking for a family to call her own. She's the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, happiest when she's spending time with her people.

A little about Piper:

• Loves to snuggle and be close to her person

• Playful, but also enjoys relaxing and downtime

• Loves people and is very gentle with visitors

• Hasn't lived with children, but her gentle nature suggests she'd likely do well with respectful kids

• Does well with medium-sized dogs

• Would do best in a home without small dogs

• Has not been tested with cats

• Walks nicely on a leash and just appreciates a little reassurance when passing other dogs

• Is still adorably a little nervous of squirrels on walks

• Knows her basic commands and has a great training foundation

• Has done well being left alone for short periods

• Is comfortable relaxing in a crate once she's inside (she just needs a little encouragement to go in)

• Rides well in the car and feels more relaxed when you talk to her

• Thrives on companionship and simply wants to be with her family
