Luna is a 4-year-old, 12-pound long-haired Chihuahua with the sweetest soul. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate companion who will happily be by your side, Luna might just be your perfect match.

This gentle girl is incredibly laid back and loves following her people from room to room. She's happiest curled up beside you on the couch, soaking up the sunshine outside, or joining you for a peaceful walk. Luna is generous with kisses and has the biggest heart once she gets to know you. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience, she warms up quickly and becomes a loving companion.

Luna's ideal home:

• A calm, quiet home where she can feel safe

• Children 10+ would be best, as loud noises and lots of activity make her nervous

• A calm, friendly dog of a similar size and energy level would be a great companion, but she'd also do well as the only dog

• A fenced yard would be a bonus for sunbathing and zoomies, but she'd also be happy in an apartment since she doesn't need much space or exercise

• House trained

• Excellent on a leash, she doesn't pull and usually ignores people passing by

• Not a fan of the crate, but can be left out when you're away and happily sleeps on the couch

• Doesn't enjoy loud noises like thunderstorms, fireworks, or the vacuum

• Prefers people to let her approach them at her own pace rather than getting in her face right away

• Loves car rides and will happily stick her little head out the window to enjoy the breeze

• Has not been cat tested
