Max is a 2 year old, 46 pound, handsome boxer/pointer/doberman mix with a heart as big as his personality. He’s the kind of dog who believes his purpose in life is simple: stay close to his people and make sure they’re always okay. 💛
Max is incredibly loving and loyal, the type who leans into you for comfort and follows you from room to room just to be near. He’s smart, curious, and takes his “yard patrol” duties seriously… but don’t worry, his goofy side shines just as much. He loves carrying around toys, blankets, or even your shoes, not to destroy them, just to keep them close like little treasures.

Great with people and has been gentle with children when introduced properly
House-trained and crate-trained
Rides well in the car and walks nicely on leash

Incredibly smart and would shine in training, agility, or even therapy work. Anything that gives him a sense of purpose and lets him “help” his people.
Max would thrive in a home where there’s lots of love, activity, and companionship. He enjoys having people around and would do especially well with a family or even a canine buddy (with a slow introduction). He’s still learning to feel fully confident being left alone, so a home that can help him continue building that trust will be key. He has not had any interaction with cats.
At the end of the day, Max is happiest curled up beside you (or with his head resting somewhere cozy), snoring softly after a day of being your loyal companion.
