🐾 Meet Cali — the shy sweetheart with the biggest heart! 🐾

Cali is a sensitive, playful, and affectionate girl who just wants to feel safe and loved. She can be a little timid those first couple of days in a new place, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet, silly personality shines through. 💛

She’s dog-friendly, people-loving, and happiest when she has a mix of playtime, snuggles, and lounging outside on a balcony or in the backyard.

💛 Cali’s Personality & Quirks:

A little shy at first — needs 2–3 days to warm up, but then she’s all cuddles and play.
Doesn’t love being left home alone (she’ll bark a bit), but settles with her crate and toys.
Walks beautifully on leash and enjoys 30–40 minute strolls.
Loves short bursts of playtime, then entertains herself or naps
Very sensitive to loud noises (fireworks, thunder, motorcycles) — she’ll want to rush home quickly.

🎾 Her Favorite Things:

Yogurt or peanut butter on a lick mat
Baby carrots (she loves to chase them!)
Bully sticks, eggs, bacon, chicken
Playing fetch with squeaky balls
Snuffle mats and enrichment games
Hanging out and playing with other dogs

🛠️ What She Knows:

Sit, paw, “wait” for food, and crate (“inside” with a little encouragement)
Crate-trained & making good progress with house training
Knows the couch and bed are off-limits (but might still try sneaking up 😉 — her adopter can decide the rules!)
Easy for brushing, ear cleaning, and even baths (though she’ll be nervous about getting in the tub at first)

Cali will thrive in a patient, loving home where she has structure, enrichment, and ideally a friendly dog sibling to play with. She’d do best in a calmer environment without small kids, as she’s sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements.
