Buster has been in training all summer. He's amazing.

Buster is a 2-year-old, 65 lb Akita mix who is smart, playful and quick to figure out his routines. He enjoys having fun but is just as happy settling down and relaxing with his people. He is house trained, comfortable being home alone, sleeps in his crate at night and loves car rides.

Buster can be slow to warm up to new people and doesn’t enjoy strangers getting into his personal space. He needs a family who will respect his boundaries and give him time to build trust rather than expecting him to be everyone’s best friend right away. He has not been cat tested and has not been around children.

He loves walks and running, so an active family who enjoys getting outside would be a great match for him.

Buster has done well with other dogs and could happily have a canine companion. New friendships should be introduced slowly and on neutral territory to make sure everyone is comfortable.

Buster needs an experienced owner who will provide him with consistent training. He is currently prong and e-collar trained and wi come with the tools and resources needed from Frontier Canine to help his new family continue his progress.

He’s a smart, fun-loving boy who knows what he likes and is continuing to learn every day. With the right family, Buster has so much love and adventure to give.
