Izzy is a quiet, sweet, and affectionate girl with a playful spirit. At 3 years old, she has a medium energy level and is just as happy to nap on the couch as she is to play with her dog friends. She’s incredibly loving and will often seek attention, making her a perfect lap dog for anyone who enjoys cuddles and affection.

Izzy is very food motivated, loves her toys and bones, and can be a little sneaky when it comes to stealing them from other dogs! While she’s playful, she is also great in a crate and should be crated when left alone for her own comfort and safety.

Though she doesn’t love being outside, she’s very well-mannered and knows to come back inside right away. She’s not interested in jumping fences, and she’s good about running back to the door when she's ready to come in.

Izzy gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, but she might be a little unsure around cats. She’s also good with kids, as reported by previous caregivers. She’s very responsive to structure and is keen to please, listening well and eager to earn your approval.

Izzy would do best in a home where she receives lots of love, attention, and structure.

She may need a little patience with her outdoor potty routine, but with consistent outdoor time, it's manageable. She’d also love to have a dog buddy to play with!
