CURRENT STATUS: Foster Needed/ Foster to Adopt

Rosa is a 2-year-old, 70 -pound Lab X Bully mix who is sweet, confident, affectionate, and easygoing. She loves to play, but she's just as happy relaxing and enjoying some quiet time with her people. Rosa is a sweet, calm, and gentle girl who absolutely loves to snuggle! She’s a professional cuddler who loves toys, treats, children, and other dogs. Rosa LOVES playtime, and would do well in a home with other dogs and kids 8+. She walks beautifully on leash, is crate and house trained, and has no issues with excessive barking. Rosa does well in new situations and would make a wonderful companion

Rosa may also have some food insecurity from her past, as she was often hungry before coming into foster care. Her foster family has been mindful of this and feeds the dogs separately as a precaution. She has not shown any concerning behaviour, but a thoughtful family should continue to give her space and structure around meals. She would do best in a home with someone who has experience with the breed, and the space and time for a dog like Rosa.

• Decompression is important for Rosa. She needs a family that understands there will be a transition period and she will need her time to feel safe. 

Rosa is the kind of girl who doesn't need much to be happy. She is sweet, affectionate, confident, adaptable and Rosa is ready for her forever home.
