Popeye has survived unimaginable cruelty — he tragically lost one eye after being beaten — yet his spirit remains unbroken. Despite everything he’s endured, Popeye continues to trust people and radiates kindness. He’s gentle, affectionate, and dog-friendly, simply longing for a safe, loving place to call home.

This resilient boy deserves a chance to finally decompress and heal. He thrives with routine, structure, and patience, and would do best in a calm environment where he can feel secure and loved.

Popeye is currently in Missouri and urgently needs a foster or foster-to-adopt home to avoid being sent to a shelter.
