Noel is a 2-year-old, 48 lb sweetheart (a little on the chunky side, which only makes her more lovable 💕). She’s friendly with people, dogs, and even kitty cats 🐾🐱.

Her story is one of heartbreak and hope. Noel was first spotted standing alone in the rain 🌧️, desperately trying to get help for herself and her puppies, who were huddled under a pickup truck 🚚. It was a dangerous area, and most people just passed her by… until the kindness of a nearby tire shop owner and his employees changed everything. 🙏 Thanks to them, Noel and her eight puppies were safely loaded into an SUV and given a chance at life 💛.

Her puppies were soon vaccinated, transported to Iowa, and found loving homes within two weeks 🏡. Noel, however, couldn’t join them — she had tested positive for heartworms 💔. While her babies were settling into new families, Noel stayed behind to begin treatment.

Despite everything — abandonment, hunger, the streets — Noel’s spirit has remained gentle, kind, and full of love 🌸.
