CURRENT STATUS: Foster Needed

Sweet little Maddie has been through so much. She needs needs a quiet home - someone with patience, and a safe place to decompress. She is friendly with people, and she has done well with the dogs she has been around, but she needs things to happen at her pace. Slow introductions, a calm environment, and someone who understands that trust takes time will be so important for her. She requires double leash outside as she is fearful, and she needs someone that understands keeping her secure and safe during her transion is #1 proioirty.

She is crate trained and has not yet been tested with cats. With structure, consistency, and a patient approach, she would likely do well in a home that can provide clear boundaries and routine.

She needs the chance to decompress, build confidence, and discover what it feels like to be safe.
