Donnie is a sweet and gentle 1.5-year-old Terrier mix who is looking for a patient and loving family to call his own. He's a little dude weighing 15lbs. This good boy is dog friendly, crate trained, and easy to live with — he is not a barker and is comfortable around people, making him a wonderfully calm presence in the home. Donnie's story is one of resilience. Found abandoned, this sweet boy has been through more than he deserved, and he will need some time and patience to decompress and settle into his new surroundings. But for the family willing to give him that grace, Donnie will slowly open up and reveal just how loving and loyal he truly is.

He would be happiest in a home with another small or medium-sized dog to help him feel secure, and would do best with kids ages 12 and up. Donnie isn't asking for much — just a warm home, a gentle hand, and someone who will give him the time he needs to learn that he is finally safe and loved.
