BUDDY

APPROXIMATE AGE: 8 YEARS

CURRENT STATUS: FOSTER HOME NEEDED

Buddy is an 8-year-old, 80 lb Golden Doodle who urgently needs a safe and stable foster home. His family recently lost their business and home and no longer has the space to care for him. They need him placed as soon as possible.

Buddy is a sweet, cuddly boy who loves people and does especially well with older children. He’s affectionate, protective, and happiest when he’s close to his humans. He doesn’t destroy property and is house trained, but he would benefit from gentle reminders around barking, counter-surfing, and staying out of the garbage if it’s accessible.

Buddy’s ideal foster home:

• No other pets (he can be selective with dogs and sometimes reactive, though he can be redirected with reminders)

• Experience with large dogs or confident handling

• Older children or adults only (he can jump when excited)

He’s good on walks, good in the car, and he adjusts well to routines. Buddy has been well loved, and his family simply wants him to land somewhere safe where he can decompress and feel secure until we can find him a forever home.
