CURRENT STATUS: Foster Needed / Foster to Adopt

Meet Bubba, a large 50 lb Lab mix with a heart full of love and energy to match! Bubba is around 3-4 years old and was surrendered to a high kill shelter by his family. We know he had a family at one point - but other than that, we don't know much about his history. What we do know is that he's a super sweet boy ready for a fresh start.

Bubba gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a fantastic fit for busy households. He's both crate trained and house trained, and he knows the word "kennel" like a pro. When he's outside, he stays put in the yard and will bark at the door to let you know he's ready to come back in. He really needs time to decompress. We want a quiet home, that will give him the time he needs to come out of his shell, and feel safe. 

Bubba loves belly rubs and playing with toys, and he brings tons of energy and affection to everyone he meets.

All local shelters are currently full, so Bubba's chance at a happy future depends on finding him a home directly.  He is STILL IN THE SHELTER, but people are advocating to save his life, and we want to help.
