Approx. 3.5 years old | Spayed | 50 lbs | Fully vetted | Rabies vaccinated | HW negative

I’m a happy, loose-bodied girl who gets wiggly with excitement, especially when it’s time to head out for a walk. I walk well on leash (though I can pull a bit when I’m excited), take direction nicely, and I did great during my full medical workup — I was calm, cooperative, and easy to handle.
I’ve been nothing but friendly with shelter staff and have done wonderfully in off-leash playgroups. I have a moderate energy level and an overall joyful, bouncy outlook on life. I love being engaged and enjoy social time with other dogs.
In new situations, I can feel a little nervous at first. I generally stay relaxed and loose with new people, but I don’t love being startled or having unfamiliar people suddenly enter my space. I appreciate slow, respectful introductions where I can feel safe and understood.

I would thrive in a home that:
✔️Has experience with rescue dogs.
✔️Allow adequate decompression time
✔️No small children/kids 12+
✔️Provides structure and routine.
✔️Has the time and ability to continue working with me to build my confidence
✔️Has another friendly dog that can show me the ropes.

I’m a sweet, affectionate, happy girl who just needs someone to listen when I say I’m unsure. If you’re willing to meet me where I’m at, I promise to meet you with loyalty, joy, and lots of love.

Brittle is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and heartworm negative. She will come with 30 days free pet insurance to an approved adopter.

NOTE: Brittle has a bite history, due to human error. We believe Brittle is worth being saved, but she needs the time to decompress with humans that understand that. ⚠️
