Looking for a calm, snuggly companion who’s happiest soaking up the sunshine or curled up on your lap? 🌞💛 Meet Rex, a tiny sweetheart with a big heart! This 10 lb Chihuahua mix is a peaceful little guy who just wants love, belly rubs, and a cozy blanket to nap on.

🦴 Rex’s Favorite Things:

• Sniffing around on calm walks 🚶‍♂️🐕

• Soaking in the sunshine 🌼

• Napping on soft blankets 🛋️

• Being a lap dog (if you’ll let him!) 🥰

• Quiet, comfy environments 🧘‍♀️

He’s very quiet and observant, preferring calm over chaos. While he’s mostly uninterested in other dogs, he’s done well with calm introductions and would likely do fine with another small, low-energy pup. He’s shown some curiosity about cats 🐱 but hasn’t had much interaction yet. As for kiddos, Rex hasn't lived with children, but he’s unbothered when he hears them at play — he’d likely do best with older, respectful children who can match his peaceful vibe. 👧👦

🛏️ Rex sleeps in bed with his foster and LOVES to snuggle. He uses his crate voluntarily and travels well in it by car (even on longer trips!). He’s not a fan of loud noises (like the garbage truck), so a quiet home would be ideal.

🩺 Medical Notes:
Rex’s vet noted he has “slippery knees” (luxating patella), which may require extra care in the future. He’s doing great now, but he shouldn't jump off furniture to protect his joints. 🐾❤️

🚶‍♂️ On walks, he’s a dream — no pulling, just lots of sniffing and happy tail wags. He’s more of a relax-and-explore kind of guy than a high-energy adventurer.
