Meet Ellie - The Sweetest Couch Potato!

Say hello to Ellie, a 6-year-old Bully Mix who's the definition of low-maintenance love. Weighing in at 35LBS, Ellie is the sweetest and most relaxed companion you’ll ever meet! When you come home, she’ll greet you with sleepy eyes from her nap and waddle over for some much-needed attention and affection.

Ellie is highly food motivated and already knows some basic commands like "sit" and "paw." She enjoys short walks outside but is more of a laid-back lady who loves to lounge around. If you're looking for a dog who’s content to be your couch buddy, Ellie is the perfect match!

Her ideal home is a quiet one, where she can take it easy. Ellie would do best in a home with just herself or with another dog that enjoys a good snooze as much as she does. She loves attention but also values her alone time. She’s friendly to people and other dogs but would appreciate slow introductions to new faces, including children. While she’s shown interest in kids when outside, there’s no aggression anticipated.

Ellie is a true lover of chews—yak sticks, bully sticks, and meat-related treats are her favorite! She loves to be spoiled with cozy blankets and comfy beds, as well as some sweet talk and gentle pets. While she’s not a fan of veggies and fruits, she’s more than happy to enjoy her treats and naps! Ellie is house-trained and has not had an accident in the three weeks she’s been with us. She’ll let you know when she needs to go out by waiting by the door. Ellie’s a pro at being left alone—she’s calm, non-destructive, and nap-ready for up to 8 hours at a time. She’s also not crate trained, but we don’t anticipate any issues with crate training her.

Though Ellie’s not the biggest fan of car rides, she tolerates them without issue and stays calm. She’s great with other dogs as long as they respect her space, and she walks well on a leash with minimal pulling.
