Mateo has recently been rescued from a high-kill shelter and has just arrived in our care. He is the sweetest, most gentle big guy you will ever meet. Mateo is a 2-year-old mixed breed, weighing about 60 lbs, though he could likely benefit from putting on a few more pounds.

He’s been wonderful with the other dogs in his foster home and settles nicely in his crate.

Mateo is looking for a quiet home where he can decompress, feel safe, and take his time adjusting. He’s incredibly good-natured and deserves a calm environment to heal and settle into. This situation is urgent, and we are looking to move him as soon as possible.

Mateo is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention. He is heartworm negative and neutered.
