Turquoise is a playful and affectionate American Bully mix who is about 1 year and 4 months old, born on October 11, 2023. He is a medium-sized dog, weighing between 45-50 lbs, and has a beautiful brindle coat with a white chest. He is a loyal and loving dog who enjoys being around family and cuddling on the couch after a good walk or play session.

Turquoise is also intelligent and picks up commands quickly. He’s vocal and lets you know when he needs to go potty or when it’s time for a meal. He is confident and friendly, Turquoise is great with adults and curious about other dogs. He would do best with a proper introduction to other dogs, as he can be a little excited around new canine friends. With a moderate energy level, he enjoys walks, playing fetch, and exploring new environments. He’s also happy to relax on the couch or enjoy a cuddle session at home. He loves playing tug-of-war and fetch, and even enjoys walks on the treadmill.

Turquoise knows basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” “lay down,” and “come.” He’s house-trained and walks well on a leash, although he can get excited around other animals and may pull at times. While he doesn’t resource guard food, he does growl sometimes with toys due to his excitement. Turquoise is up-to-date on his core vaccinations, not neutered, and in good overall health with no known medical issues.

Turquoise is good with older kids (ages 8+), though we are unsure how he would do with toddlers. He is also friendly and curious about strangers but may bark initially when meeting new people. He gets along with other dogs, as long as they are properly introduced, and his behavior around cats is unknown. While he is generally sweet, he can be a little stubborn when excited and may pull on the leash during walks. Turquoise would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. He would be happiest with a family or individual who enjoys walks, playtime, and cuddle sessions. A home with a yard would be ideal, though he can adapt to apartment living as long as he gets regular walks and playtime.
