BONNIE - AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

Meet Bonnie, a beautiful lab X pit mix, approximately 6 or 7 years old and around 40lbs. Affectionately known as Beanz, she's the definition of a gentle soul. She’s a sweet, loving girl who adores cuddles and being close to her people. Whether she’s curling up next to you on the couch or quietly following you from room to room, Beanz just wants to be near the ones she loves.

She can be a bit timid meeting new people, but with a little patience, she warms up quickly and becomes a total lovebug. She's calm and low energy, making her an ideal companion for a quieter home—or one with respectful children. In fact, she absolutely adores kids, and has spent lots of time around children aged 9, 12, and 13 with no issues at all.

Beanz is more of a cat lover than a dog’s dog. She gets along with other dogs, especially if they're gentle and not too high-energy, but she really lights up around cats. She's currently living peacefully with a cat and doing great!

Her favorite things include:

Running free in open fields

Playing gentle games of chase or fetch

Cuddling up with her favorite humans

Long, peaceful car rides

Bonnie is not crate trained, but she's done well when left alone (up to two hours at a time so far). She’s housetrained, quiet (she hardly barks), and very respectful in the home. On walks, she might pull a little at the beginning, but she learns quickly and responds well to redirection. She’s not reactive to other dogs, and her walker helps her stay calm and focused.

Her one quirk is she doesn’t love overly assertive people right off the bat. She prefers to get to know you at her own pace, but once she does, she’ll be your most loyal buddy.

Bonnie is truly a gem—gentle, affectionate, and full of quiet joy. She would thrive in a calm home (maybe with a cat friend!), where she can be her sweet, snuggly self.

Bonnie is fully vetted, up to date on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and spayed.
